IMPACT East Midlands launches new Provider Collaborative Commissioning Strategy

Four people around a table having a discussion

IMPACT, the provider collaborative responsible for Adult Secure Services (low and medium) across the East Midlands has published a new strategy setting out its commissioning intentions 2024-2026.

Since its establishment in 2020, IMPACT has strived to maintain its position as one of the most ambitious and innovative provider collaboratives in the country, at the forefront of trialling new ways of commissioning and delivering services.

IMPACT’s approaches to ensuring appropriate care in the right place and discharge support, for example, demonstrate its commitment to supporting a whole pathway of care surrounding someone’s secure care experience.

IMPACT also regularly leads the way nationally in developing new practices, such as its bed forecasting model, which has been adopted by all provider collaboratives across the country. Clinical leadership, clear lines of accountability and escalation, collaborative decision-making and governance, communication and coproduction are what IMPACT values most as key strengths.
